His escapades have proved him quite a talented driver and pilot as well, and he is an expert shot – with a pistol, no less.

When not practicing his art – he seems to steal a lot more for the challenge than for any personal gain, frequently discarding treasures or not caring if he should lose them after first conquering the quest of acquiring them – Lupin enjoys fishing, gambling, and dating beautiful women – not necessarily in that order!

We must empathize. For the act of empathy makes us most human – the exercise of our imaginations, the use of our unique ability to almost literally put ourselves in another’s stead.
And hence the difference between being and having. One sees this very clearly in a classroom, even in college, where most students scribble away furiously, taking down notes as the professor speaks. Yet how much are they really retaining if half their brains are busy recording what was said instead of being fully engaged in what is said?
Full undivided attention means exactly that. It is the total direct no-holds-barred personal experience of what is going on, what is being said – and what that means in all its implications. In the act of note-taking, however, one is necessarily forever playing “catch up,” with a significant amount of one’s attention focused on the act of recording – and editing, moreover: a necessarily “distancing” set of behaviors.
It is as if these students believe that the very having of some notes of the lecture constitutes knowledge itself – literally having knowledge – while the fact of the matter is that one best knows, most completely knows, in the direct experiencing of what is to be known.
This direct experience does not come from notes hastily jotted in a strobe light-like manner. It comes from being fully in the moment, as opposed to standing outside of it recording.

Since its development by Ericsson in 1994, Bluetooth technology is the go-to standard for joining stationary or mobile devices over shorter distances by way of short range, short wavelength radio transmissions. Ear Plugs Versus Noise

Throughout today’s noisy world of frequent distraction, very few people stop to consider the means through which they interpret all of this audible stimuli: the ears; and much less still take the proper steps to defend their ears when they should, even using so easy as plugs for ears. Obviously ear plugs sound like a ridiculous, not entirely needed precaution in most circumstances – and in a lot of situations, they aren’t required – but understanding the value of your ears is key to protecting them.
Ears are of course used for hearing and interpreting sound. Sound – which are waves of pressure traveling through a medium, whether it be air, water, or something else – is first “heard” when it is trapped by the external ear (which is the visible part on either side of our head, and what we first think when we think of “ears”). These pressure waves, or sound, are then filtered through the outer parts of the ear until eventually they interact with the ear drum and inner ear (those parts of the organ found inside of your skull), where they stimulate hair cells, sending nervous signals to the brain. These signals are then translated as sound. Yes protection supplies come in many different forms.
